A dashboard must support decisions
The purpose of a QHSE dashboard is not decoration. It should help leaders ask better questions, allocate resources, remove barriers and hold teams accountable.
Indicators that matter
Executives should see serious incidents, high-potential near misses, overdue critical actions, audit scores, repeat findings, contractor performance, training compliance and critical risk status. These indicators reveal whether the organization is improving or drifting.
Leading and lagging indicators
Lagging indicators show what has happened. Leading indicators show whether the organization is actively preventing failure. A balanced dashboard includes both.
Action visibility
Open actions and overdue actions should be visible by department, site, owner and severity. High-risk overdue actions should never be hidden in spreadsheets.
Sentinel dashboards
Sentinel is designed to give executives visibility over incidents, actions, audits, inspections, risk trends and performance. PIAG helps clients define the indicators that matter most for their operations.
